ESPADRILLES And España

Colorfuls!
It is a food for thought for me to know that Espadrilles originally came from Spain (source: Wikipedia).  Espadrilles were originally made in France and Spain. The term espadrille is French. “Espardenyes” is Spanish. Espadrilles were produced in the Catalonia region of Spain, and also in the mid-Pyrenees in France.

The trigger? My cousin from Barcelona, Spain sent me one as a gift (Thanks Ate Chereel).

Before, I am not a big fan of them for no reason. But upon opening the package, I've grown to love them so quickly. They are much comfortable as I thought and light-weight too. Specially that Summer Season is fast approaching - this pair of footsies can be a wardrobe staple.

Bursting with fun and color: they may not be boots - but they are definitely made for walking too! - CMK.

  2. Looks like Toms and Sanuk Miss K! :O I have a pair of same comfy shoes (not the brand) but it's best with summer, cause they're made out of fabric.
