We all look for the 'right' coverage so girls eternally explore
for the one 'fonda' they can use day in and day out.
And even if you're not a fan of cake foundation,
evening events and weddings mark necessity for us to buy one.
Let me present : ELF TWO-WAY CAKE FOUNDATION
Some Details : E.L.F. stands for Eyes Lips Face. 8 years old in the beauty business and is a US Brand (based on my research).
CMK HAPPY THOUGHTS:
☺It's SPF 15. Good News for our skin!
☺Coverage looks au naturale! Not too cakey.
☺ 2 way means it can be applied wet or dry on your face.
☺ Comes with a mirror and sponge for only less than Php 250 (approx).
CMK WISHFUL THOUGHTS:
☻Wish they have more color tones (foundation vs. skin tone difference is so noticeable).
For girls with hybrid skin tone (mid-fair, mid-morena) - that might be a no-no.
☻Their title on the package chaps off easily.
Update: Here's their PH website (click HERE).
CMK THINKS: It's somewhat a necessity specially if you're attending formal events where light powders and bb creams are not enough. Here's a sample swatch:
Notice that it provides a just-right coverage |
Product lives up to it's name. Foundation.
Gives that glow and even-skin tone on one's face.
Enjoy! -CMK
Awesome! I didn't know they had powder foundations :)

Hi CJ - yes they do. It took me a while to discover it though. ELF's coverage is A-Ok ;)

I haven't tried their foundation. I use Fashion 21, it's great too, and for the same price. Anyways, the ELF product that I know is the eye shadows. I didn't know til now that they have foundation too :))
ReplyDeleteFoundation sometimes feels heavy on my face Miss K, perhaps beacause I have an oily skin. :/ And that's the reason why I prefer using BB cream and loose powders na lang. A great review btw, will consider testing this cake foundation next time, wag na naman po sana akong maBV . hehe
