Fashion historians ascribe the origins of the little black dress to the 1920s designs
of Coco Chanel, intended to be long-lasting, versatile, affordable, accessible to
the widest market possible and in a neutral color. Its ubiquity is such that it is often
simply referred to as the "LBD" (Source : Wikipedia).
You know what surprised me most on the article above?
It's that Fashion Historians exists! Now - who says fashion is not history!
Going back, we've all had an idea about LBD's. But for today's
Fashion Alert Series, I've inserted one savvy word "versatile".
Presenting : Lacy Little Black Dress from Black Et Noir
As I've shared (click HERE), Black Et Noir is one of SM Ladies' Flagship Brands.
True to my word, I find their style so versatile and in-the-trend.
Note: Dress costs less than a thousand bucks!
Style #1 : It's a culmination of yet another fashion series.
The Black and the Royal Blue meets. (click HERE)
Used the LBD as my lacy top over a royal blue skirt from Bayo.
Capped it off by a caramel wedge from Celine.
Ready for Style #2? Breakfast at Tiffany's anyone?
Style #2 : Breakfast at Tiffany's Peg.
Simple pair of earrings with a slim white lady's watch.
Plus a golden package from Belo Medical Group.
Caution : Goodies inside are worth reviewing and to watch out for!
I guess the wonders of versatile ensembles lie in the
beauty of value for money plus getting some free space when you're travelling!
Have fun mix and matching! -CMK
