BEAUTY BUZZ ON HAIR REMOVALS : WAX OR LASER TREATMENT?

Taken at Laybare

Some say being hair-free is a plain vanity, others say being one is hygienic.
Most girls {me included} has a penchant of being smooth.
Two most popular ways to remain such are through the help
of either WAX or LASER treatment. Let's take some few notes on both.

WAX TREATMENT
I personally opt wax treatment on legs. Being moderately hairy, it's ideal
to get waxed at least once a month. I find it convenient.
Laybare is my waxing salon for the longest time and I liked their services
{specifically at SM branch near my place}. Downtime is acceptable.
I've been told not to wet the area for 4 hours. Tag price is a winner
too. Wax treatments have a benchmark cost of Php 500 and below.
Check out one of my visits to Laybare (HERE).

LASER TREATMENT
Then there's laser treatment. Beauty technology is pretty much advanced too!
I got my first laser treatment way back 2007 at Slimmers World Skin and Facial Clinic.
They have one fancy building just across Dusit Hotel, Makati.
Part that I've had treatment on? Facial hair (specifically, upper lip).
I must admit it's been causing a lot of insecurities during my teenage years
since my bigote was so apparent, you can see it on pictures!
Did someone just say bigote?!☺

After much thought and consultation, I finally availed their
laser removal treatment. Laser treatments are not cheap,
but they are the most safe and pain-free way to remove unwanted hair.

Going back to our question for the day,
LASER OR WAX?
Hmmm... there's no canned response, I bet.
Various things should be considered like budget,
pain tolerance, health condition
(i.e. pregnant women are not allowed to undergo LASER), etc.

Whatever happens, LOVE THE SKIN YOU'RE IN.
And that includes improving it {if you wish}.  -CMK

  1. i love it at LayBare. I always go there :) I'm a regular at their Waltermart Makati branch. Though I think it depends on who's doing your wax to get the best results. I've had experiences with newbies and I wasn't satisfied.
