MONEY MATTERS : COFFEE CHAT ON PERSONAL FINANCE AND STOCK MARKET

It is always a great joy to bond with friends but this time
we added a twist! We talked about personal finance.
As young people, we tend to forget and revisit how we handle
money thinking that investment is only for the ultra-rich.

What is God's plan for us, money-wise?
That was the first part of our discussion the past week.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD,
plans to prosper you and NOT to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

You will be the head and not the tail. You will lend to many nations,
but you will not have to borrow from any. Excerpt from Deut. 28

We tackled the following topics, among others:
♣ 3 GOOD REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD SAVE (click HERE)
♣ HOW TO OPEN A CITISEC ONLINE (COL) ACCOUNT (click HERE)
♣  2 WAYS TO MAKE MONEY IN THE STOCK MARKET (click HERE)

MY TAKE-AWAYS?

☺ Talking about money matters is FUN when you're with friends.
☺Lemon Baby (located in front of DFA, near MOA) is such
a good hub for hour-long tambayan.
They're on soft opening but let me say this: their servings are SO BIG.
A smoothie only costs PHp 145-ish (think mala-tabo cups, promise),
they have the smaller ones which cost Php 85-ish.
☺I'm looking forward to the day when we will
all be cashing out our stock portfolio gains! Woohoo!

God's people are destined to be rich!
We'll get there one step at a time. -CMK

  3. Hi Kristine!

You're blog is so informative. I was planning to invest in the stock market a long time ago and luckily I came across your Money Matters section and it became to be one of my favorites. I was inspired and decided to finally do it. One of these days I will finally submit my application to COL Financial. I am still on process of complying some additional requirements.

More power on your blog! ;-)
