FASHION ALERT : RED {MANGO} PANTS

To this date, I'm still loving that Christmas Red pants. Red has always been a festive color and it can give you multiple happy vibes in no time! My family spent our 2013 Christmas Eve at Ace Water Spa Hotel in Pasig and boy, we had a good time. The travel to Tagaytay the next day was a different story {read horrible traffic}. Haha! But hey, that's life. Enjoy the journey, they say, and so we did {or at least tried to}.

DETAILS:
Black Lace Top from Black Et Noir
Chritmas Red Pants with Zipper Details from Mango
Watch from VNC (yes they do have watches)
Wedge from Celine
Bag from Aldo

Inject Neutral Tops
If you're following my fashion alert series, I've mentioned this "wear something neutral" thing a dozen of times. And again, I'm saying it now, since it's such a universal rule. Bold pants plus neutral top and vice versa. Did you notice how red goes well with caramel brown, black or even plain white top?

Add some height
It's a fact that wearing heels improves your posture, not to mention it can add a structure on your already fab getup. It works well with wedges or even closed patent pumps. Flip flops are oh-so-comfortable, that's for sure, but whenever possible, amplify your fashion presence with a nice pair of shoes {with a little heels, thank you very much}.

Skinny Jeans is in
For now, I can't imagine myself buying a baggy pair of pants {*cringe*}. Maybe because I'm not cut out to wear them in an altogether acceptable manner. Lol. I had my share of square, baggy pants era, but for me, they shall all belong to my throwback Thursday picks. Conversely, I'm thankful to whoever is responsible for making skinny jeans a hit. Being a top-heavy woman that I am, skinny cut balances out my whole proportion. And oh, I can't take my eyes off that classic fitted top with checkered clutch.
Have you tried to wear something bold {color-wise}, this year? -CMK
