Happy New Year! One unwelcome by-product of year end celebrations is {unfortunately} air pollution. In fact, Rappler shares that "Air pollution in Metro Manila after New Year celebrations this year was 3 times worse than the air pollution recorded on the same occasion last year, said the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)." And we know very well that air pollution is a popular skin culprit. May this be a wake-up call for us to take extra care of our skin.
Last month, I just hit pan the pot of my NIVEA VISAGE SPARKLING WHITE PORE MINIMIZER (Review HERE). I am happy with the product except that I noticed the substance tends to be heavy on my skin when used over time. With that, I resolved to look for a water-based night cream.
DETAILS:
Product: NIVEA SOFT MOISTURIZING CREAM
Type: General Moisturizing Cream
CMK HAPPY THOUGHTS:
I like the fact that it's water-based yet it gives the right moisture my skin needs. I apply it on my face each night and so far, it's gentle to my skin. I haven't experienced any break outs or irritation (very good). I fancy the smell and consistency of each scoop. Lastly, it's so affordable. The previous pot is only 30 ml, but hey, this treasure is a whopping 150 ml. This gives me a license to pamper my face by applying more than enough amount of this beauty.
CMK WISHFUL THOUGHTS:
This being a face, body and hand moisturizer makes me think that it doesn't target the specific needs of my facial skin {other than it being a moisturizing agent}. I also wish they'll come up with a skin type variant such as for dry / normal / combination skin.
CMK THINKS:
I believe this product is designed for babies, really. So if you have an ultra-sensitive skin, this is a good product to test. With air pollution nowadays, make sure to give your skin the relaxation it deserves by 'watering' them each night. Love your skin! -CMK

Actually i have never tried it in my home. Nivea products are always best. Especially in winter this lotion will help us to take care of our dry skin.
ReplyDeleteI’m thinking if my skin will not get oily if I’m going to use this product especially that it’s so hot now in the Philippines since its summer.
