I've been wanting to get a Nars blush for the longest time. Either their best-seller color which is Orgasm or their Laguna bronzer powder. However, I'm finding it too overrated at more or less, Php 1,500. I have other priorities, let's put it that way.
Next thing I know, I've been rummaging the web for a good dupe. And hands down, Mr. Google will give you these words when you look for Nars Orgasm dupe - NYX BLUSH PINCHED.
I saw a plethora of swatches and by golly the beauty bloggers have spoken! You can barely tell {if you can} the difference! So nice to know that NYX Philippines is here! :) I visited one at SM Makati and another at SM MOA. I've got a NYX Matte Lipstick in Temptress too, review HERE.
CMK HAPPY THOUGHTS:
+ Pigmented. I'm the type who doesn't retouch makeups so after I applied them, I totally forget about it. Except for lipsticks which I occasionally swipe, as necessary.
+ Natural Looking. I guess that's the selling point of Nars to begin with. A blush without looking so barbie-ish. Nyx has achieved that. It's not too pink and the title said it all, it made you look like you've been pinched on the cheeks.
+ Pocket Friendly. I got them at 1/3 the price of NARS. It's Php 390. I've been told by my friends that you can get the same at a much lower price specially on online purchases, but if you like to try on the product first {like I do}, the price is not bad after all.
Thoughts, swatch and look after the jump.
CMK WISHFUL THOUGHT:
+ Packaging. To be honest, I can't think of any. But just so I don't appear too biased - I think the plastic packaging needs improvement.
CMK THINKS:
This deserves a spot on your kikay kit! -CMK
I agree that it is a great dupe! Another dupe is the Sleek blush in Rosegold, or the Sleek Face Form Palette in Light (blush). :')
