Here's the thing: I am not sure where to start. It was only last Tuesday when I got my visa and I have a gazillion things to do. My thoughts are splattered all over the place but I want to put my {fresh} feelings in writing. Hence, this attempt to scribble. If you've been with me on this blog, you'll know that this is my second time to go to London. If you think I'm used to all these 'feels', that's a false. To me, no travel is ever the same. 3 major things are juggling on my mind as I type:
GOD HAS GOOD PLANS.
Since I was little, I'm hearing Jeremiah 29:11 that says: For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a good future. It's one thing to know and another to experience.
There's nothing special in me. It's all about God's amazing grace that I get to experience these travels. I've been to London not once, but twice this year! If it's not God's goodness, I don't know what's the reason for all these.

SO MANY FIRSTS.
This may be my 2nd time but I'm expecting so many firsts. This will be my first Christmas, New Year and Birthday away from my family. This will also be the longest out of country stay of yours truly. With this I need to get my hands wet on cooking. I need to scout for an affordable waxing and hair salon and most importantly, I need to be involved in a church ministry!
EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOU SHOULD LEAD YOU CLOSER TO GOD.
Not farther, but closer. This phrase came to me way back 2010. I was in Schipol airport (Netherlands) when I felt an urge to ink these words. From then on, whenever I come across a life milestone, I am always reminded to not waste any opportunity. It sounds weird, but have you heard of the saying: Do not bite the hands that feed you?
That's more like it, it is GOD who gives us all the things we have. From the things we possess to the breath under our noses, the least that we can do is to ACKNOWLEDGE that these things are from HIM and use these things to glorify Him. I am far from perfect and there will be so many things that will unfold, however, I know for a fact that the GOD who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete it. Bye for now as I need to prepare a massive To-Bring List! :) -CMK
