Today's blog title. Have you noticed that 'moisturiser' is spelled with an S rather than Z? This is one of the many subtle differences between American and British English. In the UK, terms are spelled as colour (with U), especially (with E) and Z is pronounced as 'zed' rather 'zey'. They also have glottal 't' so they say bottle as bo^lle. The next time you listen to Ed Sheeran's "Don't" song - notice how he raps "bottle" of gin :)
Okay. Grammar Nazi signing off. I just thought this is an interesting way of introducing our first beauty product review for 2015! Or maybe not? :D
I have this habit of using different products for night moisturisers (day moisturiser is a different story). Since I've just hit pan of my Olay Night Cream (Review HERE), I fancied getting this L'oreal beauty pot for a change! It's £4 (approx Php 280) per 50 ml. Very reasonable, if you ask me.

CMK HAPPY THOUGHTS:
It's pinkish and smells super light. Literally, I look forward to apply this every after I wash my face. I also have a thing for their packaging. It's a royal blue, glass pot that's looks so regal on my beauty compartment. Substance-wise, it's super hydrating! It's not sticky at all and you don't need that much to feel you're covered for the night.

CMK WISHFUL THOUGHTS:
Product would have been perfect if only for 2 things: 1) I had break outs on my first week and 2) it's a bit too oily.
CMK THINKS:
If you have normal to dry skin, I'd say give it a bash. I can't say the same thing if you have an oily skin type. L'oreal products are one of the few that lived up to my expectation. I've tried a handful of their beauty lines like Hair Spray for Digipermed hair and Hydrafresh Toner. Take good care of your skin, guys! -CMK
I have been using Loreal for the last 9 years. I started with this blue color until I shifted to red color. :-)
ReplyDeleteI introduced it to my Mom also like ages ago. So when she runs out of Loreal, she closed her eyes (coz it is expensive) and just buy one.
