27TH: GRAZ, AUSTRIA

A couple of days after Christmas, the four of us (Gab, his dad, brother and myself) went to an impromptu trip to Graz, Austria. Graz is the second largest city in Austria, after Vienna. We first went shopping, had a wiener schnitzel lunch then headed to a place called Schlossberg. You can see a breathtaking view of Graz from here. We got to test Google Pixel 2 on this extreme condition. It was cold and almost pitch black if not for the moon and tiny street lights. I hate to say this but Pixel 2 slammed iPhone's X range camera-wise. As for my outfit, my bright red top is from Femme Luxe, underneath is a Heattech vest and ultra-warm leggings from Uniqlo, my down coat is... you guessed it, from Uniqlo too. Boots is from UGG's, leopard skirt is from New Look, watch is from Daniel Wellington and bag is from Fiorelli.

Graz is such a big cosmopolitan city but not lacking in history. I particularly liked that we saw it from on top albeit being cold. To be fair, it looked like I was the one complaining about the cold cos they are all walking as if it's just a cold breezy afternoon. They were all very forgiving because their girl was raised from a tropical country, so there. We capped off the night by them drinking gluhwein (mulled wine) and me craving for palacsinta (pancake). Not to worry, craving was satisfied the morning after (take a peek HERE). This is one of my most eventful Christmas ever! I am back in London as I type this but the memories will always be with me, that's for sure. -CMK
