As promised on my last FLAT TOUR post, here's to give you some snippets of our flat's 45th floor. During my 30's, I can definitely say that I value quality of life compared to when I was in my 20's. I think that's a good thing because suddenly, the whole world is no longer my audience. That I have a classic capsule wardrobe and gym pieces that I truly love and wear repeatedly. That I don't need to buy a lipstick that I am not comfortable wearing just because it is on trend.
Having a fewf*cks cares in life has so many benefits, BEING FREE is one of them.
Picture below was me last summer 2018. I am so excited to wear that dress again knowing that I shed some pounds from running. Fingers crossed, I'll sustain this regime until summer 2019 and beyond! Speaking of tracks, I got totally sidetracked! So, going back, UNCLE is a 45-storey residential building and so far, this is my best home experience in London! If you know me well enough, you'll be aware that my decision to move in here is not overnight... I've carefully thought about what that meant on my commute time to work and travel, lifestyle and of course finances. Though it is seemingly more expensive than my former flat, pound for pound it is still a better choice. Hint: Gym is free and this 45th floor space can be your office space when you are working from home. There's also a 24-hour concierge (you'll appreciate this if you're waiting for any signed deliveries and you're supposed to be onsite at work) and UNCLE team is so helpful - it really feels like you're in a good place.
