Since I made a conscious decision that 2019 will be the year when I'll ease up my travels, I became more aware of what's going on in London locally. I think embracing minimalism is not just about purging things. What's going on in your mind? What's occupying your headspace? Do things that bother you really worth it? Can we simplify it? One of my most favourite quotes goes: You can move, you are not a tree. It's very right under our noses but sometimes we fail to see the obvious.
In the spirit of making things simple and delving in the beauty of here and now, here are some snapshots we have taken from 2019 Winter Lights Festival. After roaming around, we went to Wagamama for a late dinner. Canary Wharf is a commercial estate on the Isle of Dogs in London, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is one of the main financial centres of the United Kingdom, along with the City of London, and contains many of Europe's tallest buildings, including the second-tallest in the UK, One Canada Square (Source).
