LONDON IN SPRING 2019

In between wedding planning, weather transition that caused me a bit of a migraine, usual work and sorting out our two-week holiday in the tropics, we've managed to squeeze some time yesterday to bask in the sun (yes, there was sunshine yesterday, woohoo!). We went to Notting Hill and Portobello market to celebrate Gab's name's day. It was a glorious, sunny Sunday and it was perfect. I am so happy that spring has finally sprung and lighter days are upon us!

If you're on a lookout for a French restaurant that serves gastronomical mains without a hefty price tag, try Côte Brasserie - Westbourne Grove at Notting Hill. We also went to Bluebelles of Portobello for a cappuccino and a slice of pudding. I'm sure you're familiar with Notting Hill because of Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts, but aside from this fact, the place is loaded with culture and vintage vibe. You'll see that just by strolling around the area. It's a bit out of way from where I live but it's definitely worth it. -CMK
