PICO DE LORO COVE, PHILIPPINES

I will always be grateful that I have been blessed with two homes: the Philippines and the United Kingdom. They are poles apart, as in 17 hours flight time apart. One is a warm country, the other cold. Asia and Europe. Two seasons, four seasons. Each of them has its own beauty and quirkiness. It's been a long time since I've visited the Philippines and I was so excited to do so many things! Living the beach life is definitely on top of my list. Shortly after our stay at CAMP NETANYA, we packed our things again and headed to another paradise. Pico de Loro Cove is a huge tropical paradise, within it lies Pico Sands Hotel where we stayed. The beach is a couple of minutes away from our hotel. This place is heaven!

Our hotel room is massive, overlooking a lush greenery. They have about five restaurants to choose from and food are reasonably priced and so tasty! They even have real coconuts! You can see so many stars at night and the place is surrounded by nature. Skies on top, sea and sand below, mountains all around, punctuated with loads of greens. They have a jacuzzi and massage shower. I put my shoulders, arms and legs alternatively underneath the massage shower and oh boy, I slept like a baby that night. It's like having a massage but with water. The resort is commercialised but not too much. You can have a comfortable time without veering away from mother nature. I highly recommend this place. I like it so much that I regret booking just three days and two nights. I can stay here for weeks or more! Enough of my narrative, I'll let you look at the pictures so you'll see what I mean! -CMK
